It is hard to get service, seems my bike has been waiting more than it has been available to ride. My last emails have gone unanswered. hard to find a replacement fork this time.

Still waiting for a new battery to replace the defective one.
So, if I had gotten a working battery, then I would have given it 5 stars. But if you read on, you will find out why I gave this review.
I have had a blast using my new Eahora AM100! The bike itself is an upgrade from my last old mountain bike. Things I love about the bike:
-Wide 2.8" tires really cushion the ride and help with stability in rough terrain.
-S-Ride leaver shifters & derailer work beautifully with no adjustments.
-Hydraulic disk brakes give me full control when I need to slow down or stop abruptly.
-Easy adjustable seat height for quick setup.
-Front air suspension with dial to change dampening on the fly.
-Fully customizable display/controller to tailer the eBike to work exactly how you want it. Note: you have to read the manual that is not very good English.
-USB charger on the battery to charge your phone on the go.
Issues:
-My battery is only 10.4 Ah but the specs say 14Ah. The reason I know this is I opened the battery. It has 4x 2600mAh batteries in parallel = 10.4Ah. The reason I did this is the next huge issue below..
- The battery that came with the bike had an issue from the start. The indicator light on the battery would not turn on when I pressed the button. Thinking it was in some kind of hibernation mode, I plugged it into the charger for a while. The indicator finally worked. I did a quick test with the bike for a few kilometers, all was good. I went to use it the next day knowing that the battery was almost at full charge from the day before. It wouldn’t turn on. The screen wouldn’t even turn on! So I charged it again. Then it worked no problem for that day. The 3rd time I tried it. As soon as the motor would engage, the screen would turn off. I had to keep turning it back on and it would turn off again right away. After a few times, it turned off and never went back on. After charging it again (only 25km total so far), the output of the battery would not turn on again. I was forced to use my bike as a normal heavy bike without a battery.
I contacted support. They were very polite and quick to respond (within 24 hours). I went back and forth with them (17 emails). Their support is in China so I would respond in the evening (Canada), and they would respond at 3am. As you can imagine, it took over 2 weeks to resolve this situation. They had me doing voltage tests with a multimeter, taking pictures and videos of me testing the charger voltage, showing how it wasn’t working with videos, even TAKING APART THE BATTERY PACK and taking pictures. Then they started asking me to do tests and send pictures that I had already given them a few days before! I have never seen a company ask the customer to be an electrical technician before. To me, this was a bit too far for a company to ask. Thankfully, I am an electronic engineering technologist. Some people would have no clue what to do or even have the tools to perform these tasks. Lithium batteries are dangerous and can burn your house down. The average person should not be taking them apart! They finally admitted that it would be easier to send a new battery than to keep doing more tests. I was relieved! I could finally start using my brand new eBike! More bad news… The battery pack is out of stock and the supplier is no longer producing AM100 batteries! It will take 2 months or longer to source a new supplier to hopefully make more of these batteries. I just bought this eBike and the battery is no longer manufactured?? I am not impressed. They did send me a frame bag as a small gift to say they’re sorry. Would you be happy with that??

Good looking bike. Great for cross country and flat, easy single track off road trails. For intermediate blue trails, and black diamond trails, you will probably want to upgrade the tires, fork, and rear shock. I found a Rockshox rear shock on eBay that is slightly longer than the stock coil spring (184mm eye to eye) and slightly longer travel (44mm). Seems to work as well with the rear suspension as can be expected. Tires are upgraded to 2.6 wide Specialized soft compound. Seatpost is suspension until the front fork comes. Battery range is good, easily doing 30 miles using less than 50% power. I have reset the PAS levels to 5 levels of assist, 1-3 for technical single track, and 4 and 5 for paved runs to the parking lot. After riding a black trail (advanced) the chain dropped, but the bike held together over very rough terrain. Not the best hill climber, but ok for Florida. The battery indicator is not the most accurate, but the bike can probably get 40 miles on charge with flat single track. The cadence sensor makes the bike difficult to handle compared to a torque sensor equipped bike, but manageable. The chain is a whopping 52 tooth, you might want to reduce that for hilly country. It has throttle and cruise control, but I dont use those features much. It has a light and horn, both useful at times. The handlebars are 660mm wide. Im 58 and the fit is good. The seat, pedals, and grips are ok but eventually will be upgraded. The brakes have motor shut off, which is necessary when on technical trails. Hydraulic, but mediocre. Overall a pleasant bike to ride minus the fork. Quality is good overall, the color display and tunable features of the motor make this the best e-bike I could find under $1k.
